What was a tool that only Hollywood or big business could afford to use has now become a way for everyone to express themselves. Video is being integrated into so many devices and now is so readily available. Video for the web, video Ipods, YouTube, hundreds of cable channels, new advertising avenues, automobile DVD players and on-demand video for cell phones are quickly becoming a routine part of the American landscape.
In recent years, the video presence has been so strong that when some sort of moving visual is not present, something seems to be missing.
One thing is very clear: Those who choose to ignore video, will themselves, be ignored. |
